Mary Reischl has enjoyed the practice of physical therapy for over 37 years. Her background is in orthopedics and sports medicine.
Through the years, she has developed an appreciation and passion for the other end of rehabilitation, which is helping people stay well and healthy. With medicine as it is today, it is much better to prevent an injury or joint problem by maintaining normal motion in your joints, staying strong, and maintaining good posture and body balance. This will ensure that one can continue to enjoy all the activities that they love. All of this takes an investment of time and mindfulness of your body and spirit.
Accidents do happen, and Mary is still available to get you out of pain and back on the road to normal function. She offers traditional physical therapy which includes manual therapy, joint mobilization, myofascial release, and body balancing with corrective exercises. In addition, Mary offers a wellness and prevention evaluation – this assesses strength, mobility/flexibility, balance and posture. She also encourages her patients to take advantage of her knowledge and training in the practice of Pilates.
Mary’s practice is unique in that she offers 60-90 minutes of personal, one-on-one treatment. She also offers small group Pilates classes, including core basics and mat Pilates, as well as private reformer/chair sessions.
Mary Reischl looks forward to helping you become Your Best Self.
